Stained Glass Workshop - Copper Foil Technique

Learn the basics of stained glass in this introductory hands-on class. Each student will learn the skills to complete a simple panel, including glass cutting, grinding, and soldering following the copper foil method derived by L.C. Tiffany. No previous experience is required. All tools and materials are provided. Taught by Barry DeCola. Five classes, 2.5 hours each.

The Art of Glass Mosaics

Tap into your creative side and discover how fun it is to construct beautiful works of art with mosaics. Students will learn the basics of glass mosaics including cutting, layout and design, affixing the materials, grouting, and finishing. Each student will complete one project. No previous experience is required. All tools and materials are provided.  Five classes, 2.5 hours each. 

Advanced Stained Glass

This class is for students who have already taken a basic stained glass class and want to learn more involved stained glass techniques. The class will be tailored to meet the needs of each student's individual project. Basic materials and tools will be provided, but students will be responsible for additional materials according to the size of their project. The advanced techniques students will learn include designing a larger stained glass panel, lead came techniques of making a stained glass panel, reinforcing larger stained glass panels, framing and hanging the panel, and how to accurately measure for a stained glass window home installation. Ten classes, 2.5 hours each.
